Description
Support the management of quantitative and qualitative market research studies and data analyses that address key business needs across the organization.
Act as day-to-day liaison between HMA and its suppliers on custom and syndicated research studies related to advanced product development, next generation product planning, connected car services, marketing and communications, sales/service, and strategic business opportunities. Involves conducting both qualitative and quantitative research studies to address business needs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure research leads to meaningful and impactful business implications.
Work with senior research team members to assess research needs and determine the best methodology and sample plan to address business requirements.
Help manage projects with parent company, Hyundai Motor Company in Korea, regarding their US based research projects including consolidating and sharing the HMA’s opinion and requests.
With senior research support, analyze data and information to find patterns that “tell a story” about the research results.
Create and present research results to large stakeholder audiences including senior-level executives.
Manage and leverage data mining tools such as mTAB and SPSS to provide insights to internal clients.
Manage market research budget and purchasing/invoicing needs in SAP system.

Requirements
Five or more years of experience related to market research, brand strategy, or corporate planning is required.
Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills and data mining dashboard capabilities (mTab, SPSS, PIN, Experian, etc.).
Proficiency with Excel and Word.
Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to create charts and graphs in a story telling format.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Self-starter, with good time management skills and the ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
