The Opportunity 
We're looking for a Senior Decipher Survey Programmer who combines strong technical expertise with curiosity and problem-solving skills. 
This role goes beyond programming surveys. You'll help architect complex research projects, improve internal workflows, leverage AI and automation tools, solve technical challenges, and help our organization scale smarter.

The right person is someone who enjoys figuring out not just how to execute a project, but how to execute it better next time. 

Responsibilities 

• Program and manage online research projects within the Decipher platform  
• Design and implement complex survey logic, custom scripting, and integrations  
• Develop and improve internal tools, automation processes, and workflows  
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to increase efficiency and reduce manual work  
• Troubleshoot programming and data issues across projects  
• Perform and oversee quality assurance processes  
• Manipulate and prepare data deliverables  
• Work closely with Client Service, Data Processing, Sample, and Operations teams  
• Assist in mentoring junior programmers and sharing best practices  
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives  

Requirements

Required

•  5+ years of hands-on Decipher survey programming experience  
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and survey scripting concepts  
• Experience with Python and automation workflows  
• Experience working with APIs and system integrations  
• Strong QA mindset and attention to detail  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills  
• Must be authorized to work in the United States  

Nice to Have 

• SQL experience  
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows  
• Familiarity with Git/version control  
• Experience building reusable tools or internal platforms  
• Market research operations experience  
• Mentorship or team leadership experience
