Description

The Marketing Coordinator will be primarily responsible for producing proposals, qualifications, award submittals, presentation materials and participating in various other marketing-related activities. As well as support the Company in Business Development initiatives, research, event planning and proposal preparation. This position will also be responsible for the daily operation of the front desk and lobby area during normal business hours. This position will report and be part of the Business Development Department.

 Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate proposal process from early strategy through delivery, interview and debriefing of pursuit effort.
  • Organizing and preparing graphics to support the company's business development efforts.
  • Must continue to grow and produce and oversee more each year.
  • Maintain project and employee information, project photography, and employee headshots
  • Collects and maintains project experience database including tracking, reviewing, and updating various marketing initiatives.
  • Edit non-technical sections of client deliverables such as brochures, proposals, and presentations
  • Assist with regional, divisional, or departmental internal presentations
  • Inform and work with Business Development team about any PR events or milestones involving your divisions or market sector
  • Manage approval process for marketing materials with clients and project teams
  • Create in-house graphics and/or work with the graphic designer to create graphics that support pursuit strategy
  • Support the Business Development and Workforce Development Team’s efforts relating to local office and community events for new and traditional media programs
  • Attend or support the efforts of annual trade shows and college recruiting efforts
  • Coordinate and assist in award submittals for various construction industry awards


Requirements

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Graphic Design capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must; strong analytical skills required
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe Proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing
  • Ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
  • Positive “can do” attitude a must

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
  • One to three years of related experience in marketing, graphic design, business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field preferred.
