Description

Rivel’s TrendLign division is currently seeking a talented and driven Verbatim Analyst who has flexibility to work remotely as well as in our Westport, CT office as needed. This position requires a research-savvy, detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to dissect and codify robust verbatim commentary in order to identify key themes and messages. The ideal candidate has experience with both qualitative and quantitative market  research and a passion for continuous learning.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review, comprehend and categorize verbatim commentary to quantify frequency of mention of key themes – a process which drives Rivel’s subsequent analyses
  • Ensure high-quality work in order to maintain the integrity of Rivel’s proprietary normative database
  • Conduct background research to familiarize self with companies, including reviewing corporate presentations and websites
  • Adhere to Rivel’s coding style/guidelines
  • Work alongside team members to ensure effective and timely delivery of final results
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years market research experience with a focus on verbatim coding/qualitative analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external audiences
  • Alignment with Rivel’s core values
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Friendly, sense of humor, sincere, enthusiastic
  • Ability to multi-task/handle changing priorities
  • Motivated, analytical, quick learner and a team player
  • Knowledge of financial markets a plus
